The homes in Weatherstone
Weatherstone is a custom home neighborhood off Harrison Bridge Road on Simpsonville's south side, and it has been building for two decades: the first homes closed around 2004 and new construction was still closing in 2025. That long run gives it a range you do not get in a production subdivision. Sales in the three years through September 2026 ran roughly 3,100 to 4,300 square feet, about two thirds two story and one third single level, on wooded lots of a third of an acre to just over half an acre.
Exteriors are predominantly brick, often with stone accents, and about a third of recent sales listed Craftsman styling alongside the traditional majority. A few homes have finished basements on the sloping lots. Because different builders worked here across different years, no two streets look identical, which is much of the neighborhood's appeal.
Amenities and the HOA in Weatherstone
The amenity center is the junior Olympic size pool, home to a summer swim team, with a clubhouse, a playground, and pickleball courts alongside. Sidewalks run throughout and the streets are lit. The homeowners association is mandatory, with annual dues of about $600 to $650 over the same period.
The pool and swim team give the neighborhood a summer calendar, and the pickleball courts are a newer addition that gets year round use.
Getting around from Weatherstone
Harrison Bridge Road connects to Fairview Road in a couple of minutes, and the Fairview Road corridor holds Simpsonville's grocery stores, restaurants, and the Simpsonville Walmart and Target. I-385 at Fairview Road is about five minutes away, which makes downtown Greenville roughly twenty five minutes and the Woodruff Road corridor about the same. Heritage Park, with its amphitheatre and ballfields, is a short drive.
Homes sold here in the last three years were assigned to Fork Shoals Elementary and Woodmont Middle and High, though assignments are set by address and we confirm zoning on any specific home.
What has sold in Weatherstone lately
Between September 2023 and September 2026, 33 homes closed in Weatherstone through the MLS. Setting aside the outliers at each end, they sold from about $640,000 to $926,000. Roughly 33 percent were single level homes and the rest two story. Most had four or more bedrooms. Those are the sales we pull comparables from, so ask us for the current picture before relying on any range; a renovated home and an original one on the same street can sit far apart.
