Our commitment

The Yukich Group wants every visitor to be able to find a home, research a neighborhood, and reach us — regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is something we consider as we build and update this site, not an afterthought.

The standard we aim for

Our goal is for this site to conform to theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines describe how to make web content usable for people with a wide range of visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive abilities. Meeting them is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project, and we review accessibility as we add new pages and features.

What we've built in

Steps we take across the site include:

  • Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure;
  • A "skip to main content" link and full keyboard operability for menus, links, and forms;
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • Color choices aimed at strong contrast between text and backgrounds;
  • Reduced-motion support that honors your device's "reduce motion" setting; and
  • Labeled form fields on our contact and inquiry forms.

We do not fully control how those services are built, and they may not meet the same standard we hold ourselves to.
