Knollwood Heights is a neighborhood of more than 240 homes off Main Street, US 276, on the Greenville side of Mauldin, and it has some of the largest lots in the city. Sales in the three years through September 2026 were built between 1966 and 1986 and ran roughly 1,900 to 3,400 square feet on lots of four tenths of an acre to nearly an acre, with a few even larger. Nearly all are brick, split evenly between ranches and two story traditionals, with a handful of contemporaries and some finished basements on the sloping ground.
Sixty years of mature trees and the lot sizes are what buyers come for; it is one of the few places this close to Greenville where a half acre plus lot is the norm rather than the exception.
Amenities and the association in Knollwood Heights
A neighborhood association maintains a community pool, fishing ponds, and more than 18 acres of shared woodlands. Membership terms vary by street and by section: some homes carry a small annual fee, others none, and pool membership is separate, so we confirm the arrangement for any specific address.
The woodlands and ponds give the neighborhood a park inside it, and Lake Conestee Nature Preserve, with its miles of trails along the Reedy River, is close by.
Getting around from Knollwood Heights
Main Street leads north into Greenville and south into the center of Mauldin, and I-385 is about five minutes, which puts downtown Greenville at roughly fifteen minutes and the Woodruff Road corridor at about ten. The Butler Road corridor's shopping and BridgeWay Station are close.
