Kilgore Farms is a large established neighborhood in the Five Forks area of Simpsonville, built in phases from about 2003 through 2021, so it has both twenty year old homes with mature trees and nearly new construction. Sales in the three years through September 2026 ran roughly 2,600 to 5,400 square feet, almost all two story, on lots of a fifth to a bit over a quarter acre. Brick and stone fronts dominate, with fiber cement or concrete siding on the sides, and a few homes on sloping lots have finished basements.
The later phases brought larger plans with the open main floor layouts of the 2010s, while the original section has more formal rooms. Woodlands along Peters Creek run through the common areas, giving several streets a wooded backdrop.
Amenities and the HOA in Kilgore Farms
The neighborhood has two community pools, one with a kiddie splash area, plus tennis courts, a clubhouse and cabana, and a playground. Sidewalks and street lights run throughout. The homeowners association is mandatory, with annual dues of about $630 to $695 over the same period.
Two pools for one neighborhood is unusual, and it reflects how the community was built in phases with amenities added as it grew.
Getting around from Kilgore Farms
Woodruff Road's shopping and restaurants are a few minutes away, and the Five Forks intersection's own grocery stores and services are close. I-385 by Woodruff Road is about ten minutes, which puts downtown Greenville at roughly twenty five minutes, and I-85 by Woodruff Road is about fifteen.
Homes sold here in the last three years were assigned to Bells Crossing Elementary, Riverside Middle, and Mauldin High. Assignments are set by address, and we confirm zoning on any specific home.

Between September 2023 and September 2026, 38 homes closed in Kilgore Farms through the MLS. Setting aside the outliers at each end, they sold from about $500,000 to $715,000. Nearly all were two story; single level homes came up only 3 times. Most had four or more bedrooms.
